So yeah. I suppose it's only
about time I spoke about my Acen 2012 experience.
Yup.
So.. I guess I'll start with Friday since there isn't much to speak of for Thursday, since that's when I got in. Also, I was with

90% of the weekend.
Friday: First portion of the day I was dressed as my Fem-Naruto that I'd designed last year, but never got around to doing (though, there are some flaws with the jacket and I didn't have time to make the arm swirl thing). I had a few pictures taken, but my only claim to design-fame on that one is using orange thi-hi's and honestly, there's nothing super special about it. I'm glad I made a few people happy with it though. I still won't ever see any pictures of it. XDX
After a few hours of that :iconshadowhawk335: and I went back to our room to change into one of the main cosplay we'd been working on for the con- Reshiram and Zekrom. Even though Reshiram had been mostly done for a while, I was still tweaking the little things that had really bothered me about it. Reshiram and Zekrom went over really well, and we were amused when some people called us angels, and had a few coincidences of being mistaken for OC Ponies (MLP). We also had a lot of fun during the Pokemon shoot, so over all, Friday was good. Reshiram was my warmest cosplay the whole weekend. ;o;

Saturday: The first half of the day I was Aqua, and it was received alright. People liked the Master Keeper... and other then my boot armor failing to work out, it was pretty complete and better then last year. However the KH shoot was.. terrible. I left early, and it seems I certifiably pissed of the main chick running it and her group of 6 assistants. I've run shoots and seen many shoots run, so my only issue with her was that she didn't know the series well enough, despite cosplaying Axel, and the fact 6 people had to run it.
Saturday afternoon

and I changed into Kyuubi and Tsunade. Along with

as Naruto we went to the Naruto photoshoot, collected everyone and paraded inside to the main convention hall to get out of the cold. After directing people for a couple minutes I turned around, only to realize no one was running the shoot, and yet it was starting despite us not being ready yet, so I quickly took over the shoot and from that point on I ran it.
Later Saturday I kind of just got too tired to go out again, when

noticed on Facebook the Hyatt firealarm was pulled, and that Masquerade was basically cancelled except for walk-on's.
This was very upsetting since it was pretty much cancelled, after a 2 hour delay, so that the Soap Bubble/rave could start on time. The fact that the main programming was tossed to the wayside, breaking several hard-working cosplayers' hearts just so the rave could start is very upsetting and worrisome for Acen's priorities.
Sunday I was supposed to cosplay Luka, but due to being cold all weekend and the weather being terrible I didn't bother, so after all of my personal torture and drama with that stupid cosplay, I was unable to do it. I'm not sure when it will finally debut, but you'll know when it does.
Overall, Acen was alright.
